The Adventure Junkie gives his take on the Teva Mountain Games held last weekend in Vail,CO. He feels that Floyd Landis has had a tough year, and he would like to see Floyd ride more mountain bike events, after getting into better shape, as clear his name as well. Junkie is not sure we'll see either one of those things ever happen however.

Dugard is speculating that with the rumored "outing" from the TdF of Pereiro and Valverde, due to possible involvement in OP, it won't be long before the powers that be take a longer harder look at Lance Armstrong. Thought for the Day
It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.-c. s. lewis-

Hmmm, Travis says Floyd trained too hard when he was a mountain biker...
Travis, I seem to remember you relying a little too much on talent and not on determination. But then, perhaps you were snakebit by the whole EPO scandal in the mtb pack in '96 and 2000. The Olympics are the one-shot deal, and I seem to remember you and Tink finishing mid-pack. Training? Or being PO'd about drugs in the peloton. Methinks you have eaten sour grapes.
Testing, testing....just checking to see if I can finally post a comment!
