The Denver Post gives us a little more detail on the upcoming Teva Mountain Games with a thumbnail sketch of each day's activities. Floyd Landis should be competing this Saturday and Sunday.

TourSquad thinks that if something, like a fresh start for all including good testing programs and amnesty, isn't done soon you can kiss cycling good-bye.

BikeTeamOne knows that the Tour de France is already in trouble this year, since we may not know last year's winner until after this year's winner is crowned.

The Denver Post has it right

Tour de France champion Floyd Landis is racing the Games' hill climb up Vail Pass and the cross country mountain bike race.

Sounds like a lot fun to take one's mind off the big "wait."

No doping controls in place?

Floyd is still subject to OOC testing while he is suspended from UCI sanctioned competition. This is the case regardless of whether or not the TEVA Games or Leadville 100 have any doping controls.

Gah, there is nothing wrong with cycling that cannot be fixed!

If the Lords of Testing don't clean up their act, they are just putting shame on their heads -- not cycling's directly.

Floyd has at least pushed testing into the sunlight. And it's about time for some sunshine rules!

Thanks Floyd for that.

Why wouldn't the panel have replaced Dr. Botre by now? Does it suggest they are willing to accept any bias created by the "code of silence"?

Thanks for the useful information on Landis charges. The point in my article is not quite about one substance or another, but about the effect of a sanction over the racers, both Landis and Rijs, or nay other in a similar position.

Thanks anyway.
