Thought for the Day
Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childhood days, recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth, and transport the traveler back to his own fireside and quiet home!-Charles Dickens-

Thank you for the wonderful Dickens' quote. Merry, merry Christmas to everyone, and best wishes for a bright and prosperous New Year.

Some as gmr said.
On earth peace, good will to all.
To the TBV family,
Thanks to all of you for your Herculean efforts this past year.
Interesting Dicken's quote -- I hope they are not all delusions, but even if they are they are far superior to some of the unpleasant reality.
I just felt that Dickens was a natural for a Christmas quote. I am not sure that he defined in his own mind the word "delusion" in the way that one might think. Dickens may not have meant delusion as signifying a psychotic or hallucinatory state, but rather as an unshakable belief despite evidence to the contrary. Then again, who really knows? As TT might have said it, God Bless us everyone!

...and Thanx to "Every One" at TBV for their hard work and thanx to "Every One" who comments and posts.

Here! Here! Best wishes to all of Team TBV and their faithful readers and commenters.
And here's to hoping the TBV family is soon back on line and not forced to web surf via iPhone (which is cool enough, but not quite the same as having a full-sized keyboard to type on).
Two great Dickens quotes. One from strbuk and the other from grimid.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
