TBV 50
Floyd Landis is 2-1/2 years old.
I have just completed the worst day on a cycle
in my life, having bonked 60 miles into a century
and ridden it to completion anyway.
The collapsed rider is nattily wearing cut-off jeans,
a Johnny Horizon T-shirt, and Avocet touring shoes,
with an original Bell Biker helmet in his lap.
The dedicated shoes mark him as a dead-serious cyclist,
as do the two water bottles on the frame.
The lovingly repainted Fuju S-10-S has non-sequitur "Pro Tour"
Letraset lettering applied for Panache. The frame was
incredibly flexy, and scary to ride on a descent. I learned to
lock my knees into the top tube to counteract the shaking.
It is "upgraded" with a drillium Sugino Crankset
from Bike Warehouse before it changed its name to Nashbar.
Toe-clips and frame shifters on this good (for the time) 10-speed.
